5. Booking and Scheduling

All bookings are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to modify or cancel any booking due to unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of any changes as soon as possible.

6. Payment Terms

Payment for services is due upon completion of the move or as outlined in your service agreement. We accept payments via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other approved payment methods. Late payments may result in additional fees. If you do not make full payment for the services rendered, we reserve the right to take legal action to recover the outstanding balance.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your move by providing us with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations or reschedules made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee. If you fail to be present at the time of the scheduled service, you may incur a no-show fee.

8. Insurance and Liability

Brooker Movers offers basic liability coverage for the items being moved. This coverage is included in your moving cost but may not fully cover the replacement or repair of damaged items. For additional coverage, you may purchase supplementary moving insurance. We recommend reviewing the insurance options available before your move.

We are not responsible for damages resulting from events outside of our control, such as weather conditions, road hazards, or accidents during transport. We are also not liable for damages to fragile or high-value items unless you have opted for additional coverage.

9. Customer Responsibilities

As the customer, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information: You must provide accurate details about your move, including the size of your home or office, the types of items to be moved, and any specific requirements.
  • Preparing your items: It is your responsibility to ensure that all items are properly packed and ready for transport. We can offer packing services for an additional fee if needed.
  • Accessibility: Ensure that the pick-up and delivery locations are accessible for our moving team and vehicles. This includes parking arrangements and access to elevators or loading docks, if applicable.
  • Valuable or Fragile Items: You are responsible for informing us about any valuable or fragile items. We are not liable for damage to these items unless additional coverage has been purchased.

10. Prohibited Items

We are not responsible for transporting certain hazardous or prohibited items. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Explosive materials
  • Firearms and ammunition
  • Flammable substances
  • Perishable goods
  • Illegal or controlled substances

If you attempt to transport prohibited items, we reserve the right to refuse service, and no refund will be issued.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brooker Movers’ liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services provided. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business, property damage, or personal injury.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brooker Movers, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of our services, including but not limited to claims related to damage to property, personal injury, or violations of these Terms and Conditions.
